AALO, Jul 13:A one day block level brain storming session and three day GP level training on participatory planning process for Monigong and Mechukha  Block, West Siang District were separately earlier this month under “My Village My Development Plan” MVMDP.

The targeted participants of the session were PRIs, Block Resource Group (BRG), Gram Panchayat Development Committee (GPDC), and officials of Panchayat Department from Monigong Anchal Block.

State Level Master Trainer Tamar Baki and with his team of Block Resource group (BRG) under IPPE, imparted the handholding training and knowledge.

The entire processes of participatory planning under MVMDP Guidelines 2015 are Gram Sabha centric. Therefore involvement of all important stakeholders is a crucial factor for ensuring that the process remains participative and is able to reflect in the best possible manner the living conditions at the Gram Panchayat level.
