PASIGHAT, Nov 12: A playground with rostrum in front of DDSE office constructed under Chief Minister's Samast Shiksha Yojana (CMSSY) was inaugurated today by the MLA-cum-Advisor to the Minister, UD & Housing etc Kaling Moyong in presence of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Dr Kinny Singh, DDSE Jongge Yirang, EE, UD & Housing, Principal DIET, host of leaders and officers.
Executed by UD & Housing Department the playground and rostrum was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakhs and dedicated in the fond memory of late Mamak Darin, Retd Joint Director, Education.
Expressing his happiness over the development, Moyong lauded the effort of the DDSE and assured for construction of blacktopping road to start in the area at the end of this year.
Later, the MLA along with DC, DDSE and dignitaries visited Lal Bahadur Sashtri UPS, Pasighat and inaugurated the newly constructed entry gate while the other dignitaries inaugurated water basin, separate toilets for girls and boys and took part in the plantation at the school. Moyong also dedicated three high-mast towers to the denizens of Pasighat today in presence of DC Dr. Kinny Singh, SE Power Duyu Tacho and others at Medical Chariali, Komlighat and near IGJHS School as a Diwali gift.
Earlier this morning DC, Dr. Kinny Singh inaugurated three additional classrooms at BPM Government UPS Pasighat constructed under SJETA at an estimated cost of Rs.15 lakhs. DIPRO
