PASIGHAT, Jul 15: The lift water supply project which has been implemented to relieve the people of Tigra-Mirbuk village under Bogong Banggo here from water scarcity was inaugurated on Wednesday by Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong.
The MLA appreciated the PHE & WS Pasighat Division for timely completion of the project which was a long-standing demand of the villagers.
“The project sanctioned under SADA in 2018 at an estimated cost of Rs 70 lakhs will benefit 90 households of the village,” Assistant Engineer Tadung Padung while briefing the technical aspects of the project informed. PRI members, Gaon Buras, 38th Pasighat East Mandal President Asar Padun and locals attended the inaugural ceremony maintaining social distancing.
Taking the opportunity, Moyong also advised the villagers to strictly follow all the Covid-19 protocols such as social distancing, wearing masks, using hand sanitizers etc.
