Aalo, Nov 30: Mothers’ Vision, the NGO which has been engaged in the efforts of making the state drugs-free observed its 7th Foundation Day on November 29 last here at its Recovery Club.
Chairperson of Mothers’ Vision, Jumde Yomgam Gamlin expressed satisfaction over the way the NGO functioned during the last seven years in West Siang district and exhorted the members to work relentlessly for the derailed youths who have fallen prey to drugs. Prominent members of the NGO encouraged the recovered addicts to keep up their noble works.
Besides the members, 25 recovered addicts who are now leading normal life and working for the drug addicts by rendering voluntary services under the watchful eyes of Kennedy Bagra, under whose supervision the Drug Rehabilitation and Recovery Centre located at Hiker Gumin is running, took part in the annual event.
