AALO, Jun 5: Food grain quota for the months of May and June to all AAY and PHH ration card holders of Monigong Circle which shares a border with China in Shi-Yomi district was distributed jointly by EAC Sadung Gyadu and Er. Minli Tato on June 4 last.
Distribution of the good grains under PMGKY was disrupted for a week due to rain and road blockade. 122 AAY and 713 PHH ration card holders received 42.70 and 125.60 quintals of grains respectively. The distribution was expedited keeping in mind the chances of more damage due to rain in the coming months and possibility of food scarcity of the people of the border area. DIPRO
