BOMDILA, Oct 26: 12 National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) Itanagar in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) West Kameng District conducted a mock drill on earthquake preparedness at the Shanti Deva Vidyalaya, Bomdila here on Tuesday. 
Mock drill started with the siren blazing at 11.10 am and activating the incident response system of the district emergency operating centre headed by its Incident Commander cum ADC. After receiving of information, all the support units and line departments such as NDRF, SDRF, Fire Service Department, Police Department swung to the spot, presuming an earthquake occurred at Shanti Deva Vidyalaya, Bomdila. 
The rescue operation was conducted by the NDRF, Fire service, police and injured victims were immediately evacuated by ambulance to the general hospital, Bomdila after giving necessary first aid on the spot. 
The exercise concluded with the debriefing by Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki, Sang Kandu ADC, 12 NDRF Assistant Commandant SP Sharma and i/C DDMO Tashi. 
Members of DDMA, HoDs, teachers, students and the public of Bomdila attended the programme. DIPRO
