Tawang, Oct 29: The District Disaster management Authority, Tawang in collaboration with 12th Battalion NDRF, Itanagar, today conducted mock exercise on earthquake at Tawang monastery. The mock exercise was in follow up of table top exercise conducted here a day earlier.
The Table top exercise was chaired by Incident commander of DDMA Tawang  Lobsang Tsering, Addl DC Tawang (Hqrts) and was attended by the members of District level incident response team under DDMA and Dy.Commandant 12th Bn NDRF Itanagar  Brijesh Upadhyay.  Speaking on the occasion, Lobsang Tsering, Addl.DC cum Incident Commander of DDMA Tawang said 'we humans have the tendency to forget very easily and these kind of mock exercises reminds us of our responsibilities as member of Incident response team in case of disaster. These exercises  gives practical training to the volunteers and audience as well.'
