ITANAGAR, Jun 30: In an effort to make the police department more accessible to public grievances, the department has assigned separate mobile number for all the three Officers In-charge of Itanagar, Naharlagun and Doimukh Police Stations to be used by Night Emergency Duty Officer (NEDO) 24 hours.

OC, Itanagar Police Station can be reached at 09862513361, 09402757244 for Naharlagun OC and 08729975925 for Doimukh Officer In-charge.

‘Now public can report any crime, accidents or other public nuisance or any law & order situations directly to the officers,’ informed Superintendent of Police, Papumpare, Tumme Amo.

These numbers will be used along with the general ‘100’ number and will be with duty officer only.

‘Respective OCs shall ensure that these mobiles are always kept switched on with an officer round the clock to attend public complaints/reports at once,’ directed the SP. 

All citizens are therefore requested to note and save these mobile numbers to call the concerned police station for assistance, Amo added.
