Daporijo, Sep 7: Local MLA Taniya Soki along with Deputy Commissioner Upper Subansiri District, Tasso Gambo, Lardik Kare E.E PWD Daporijo Division and others visited various project sites of Daporijo township area.
During his inspection he took progress report and quality of Colony CC pavement road, 2G+ school building of Rijo Secondary School and Mini Secretariat building.
Interacting with contractors and Department concerned, he urged them to complete the works within timeline ensuring the quality of works for the larger interest and vibrant town.
Further he inspected old drainage system of township areas and its outlet points. 
The MLA said that he is keenly interested in shaping the town into a vibrant one and trying his best to equip Daporijo town with modern facilities, including public health and education sector as per his limitation of resources.
The DC informed that, maximum colonies are now connected with CC pavement roads which has dramatically improved traffic congestion and cleanliness of the township areas. The old drainage system of township areas is the major remaining challenge in terms of cleanliness and public hygiene, once this is solved Daporijo town would be akin to a model district, he apprised the legislator.
