RAGA, Mar 1: MLA Raga Tarin Dakpe took stock of developmental activities in the Sigin- II Zilla Parishad segment of Kamle District today. He inspected the under construction PMGSY road from Liruk to Jigi village and instructed the construction agency to strictly maintain the quality as per DPR and complete the project in time. He also, inaugurated village welcome gate of Niji village.
Addressing a public meeting at Katrijo, Dakpe urged the people to shun politics after elections are over and come together for the development of their area. “It is our duty to develop our area and if politics is allowed to play continuously it will divide us and hamper our development” he said. He added that development does not happen overnight, it needs cooperation of the people and continuous efforts by the elected leader and other stakeholders.
He also, appealed to the people to take good care of the education of their children and be vigilant against drug abuse among the school going children. The occasion was also marked by the people of Katrijo village voluntarily donating 60.5 Hectares of land and signing an agreement for donating their land for creation of CO HQ at Katrijo.
Deputy Commissioner Adong Pertin, ZPM Sigin- II Advocate PL Murtem, Dr. Tacho Ligu former Chairman APPSC also spoke on the occasion. SP Kamle and all the District head of offices and PRI leaders were also present.
