Aalo, Oct 10: With the objective of making the farmers of his constituency economically self-reliant, MLA Aalo East Advocate Kento Jini procured and distributed high-yielding and disease-resistant potato seeds from Punjab to them.
Financed through the MLA Local Area Development (MLALAD) fund, the seeds amounting to Rs 15 lakhs were distributed through the Department of Agriculture. The effort pursues the aim of encouraging the farmers in the vast stretch of fertile land in the vicinity of the township and inculcate in them a sense of self-sustainability. DIPRO
