YINGKIONG, Jun 30: Mariyang-Geku assembly constituency MLA Kanggong Taku today flagged off the 108 ambulance service provided to CHC Mariyang in presence of officials, medical staff, panchayat members and ASHAs.
Expressing gratitude to the CM and Health Minister for allotting the two ambulances for his AC, Taku appealed all to get Covid vaccinated and help the DA to reach the target of 100% coverage in Upper Siang district. In view of the recent damage of the NH stretch in Rottung and collapse of Sangam Bailey Bridge that have cut off road communication for the people of Siang district, the MLA has appealed to the EE PWD (Highway), EE PWD Mariyang and EE RWD Yingkiong to keep the road free of debris by placing JCBs or bulldozers at vulnerable points to minimise traffic congestion. He also announced to provide laptops to the students of his constituency who secured 80% in Class X and 70% in Class XII. DMO Dr. Dubom Bagra and ADC Mariyang Dr. Manjuli Komut were among others present during the flag off ceremony. DIPRO
