ITANAGAR, Feb 6: Raga MLA Tarin Dakpe along with several HoDs during their recent visit to Dolungmukh area wherein they inspected several upcoming infrastructure projects directed the officials to ensure there is no compromise in quality.
Dakpe inspected the 90-meter span RCC bridge at Paro, power substation, inspection bungalow and the government quarter for Assistant Engineer which are on the verge of completion. He asked the concerned officers of the department to complete the works smoothly while maintaining quality. The team led by Dakpe also inspected the PMGSY road from Kalaptakar to Paro measuring 17 km having a budget of 17 crore executed by RWD Raga Division. Three small bridges have already been completed on the PMGSY road while the works on steel girder composite bridge over Dolung river measuring 120- meter at Paro amounting to Rs 11.5 crore is in full progress, the MLA informed.
Accompanied by the administrative officer of the area, Dakpe also visited the upcoming mega Subansiri hydropower project and discussed its work progress and while taking updates on the activities by NHPC, directed its Executive Director and officials of Patel Engineering Company to carry forward the works without interruption. “I have assured full support to the NHPC and Patel Engineering for this mega project and at the same time I have requested the locals not to create hindrances,” the MLA added.
Later, he also visited the Boori Boot Yullo festival celebration and encouraged people to preserve the age-old tribal traditions and culture of the state.
