NIRJULI, Jan 16: Adviser, Hydropower Development and Palin-Chambang MLA Balo Raja has appealed to the panchayat leaders to work with determination and team spirit for development of the area.
Raja made the appeal while addressing the recently elected panchayat leaders of Kra Daadi district which included Zila Parishad and Gram Panchayat members here at a function. “While doing welfare-centric public works we must have patience to carry them forward with the primary objective of ensuring equal development in all the sectors in Kra Daadi which is a newly-born district,” he said. Kra Daadi district Zila Parishad Chairperson Charu Menia in her address assured best efforts in taking up all developmental schemes for the district. She further assured to work in team spirit with the local MLA and District Administration to make sure that all-round development takes place.
It is pertinent to mention that most of the panchayat leaders of the district were elected unopposed in the PR election and out of 9 ZPMs, 8 are from the BJP. They were felicitated on the day in presence of several public leaders, social workers, party leaders of Kra Daadi district and state unit. 
Earlier a team of ZPMs led by Menia was given a warm welcome and reception in Doimukh.
