Hollongi, Jun 30: The Search and Rescue operations team by NDRF and SDRF continued their operations for the third day at Hollongi river belt to search for the bodies of two minor children identified as Hilang Taluk (4) and Hilang Mark, 6 months old, who reportedly drowned and went missing on June 28 last after Hollongi river was heavily flooded due to torrential rainfall. Further, the parents identified as Hilang Yakab, mother and Hilang Rade, father, have also been injured in the unfortunate incident.
Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Balijan Sub-Division Tasso Gambo and District Disaster Management Officer Nima Tashi were present on the site and supervised the rescue operations.  The DDMO informed that despite rigorous search operations, the missing bodies could not be retrieved by the search team and operations were suspended for the day and will resume on Friday.
