ZIRO, May 17: “Mirage Across North-East”, a collection of articles and poems authored by Dr. Hage Tabyo was launched on Wednesday at Ziro by Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri District Bamin Nime.
While addressing the gathering, the DC highlighted importance of book reading and reflected the advantages of it. Sharing his relation with books, he said that it's his reading habit which helped him to reach where he is now. He also promised to buy 200 copies of the newly launched book. 
Highlighting about his new book, Dr. Hage Tabyo said that “Mirage Across North-East” is a depiction of his life experiences, love life and incidents  encountered during his active government service and journey of his life. He also said that it took him five years to complete his book from 2017. 
Attending the programme APLS General Secretary Mukul Pathak shared the initiatives taken by Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society in promoting literature in the state. He also informed that APLS has published two books and a couple of books written by Arunachalee writers will be published very soon. 
Dr. Hage Tabyo, who retired as the Director of Family Welfare, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh in 2015 is a regular columnist in various news papers of the state. Presently he is holding the post of President APLS Lower Subansiri District Ziro Branch as well the Chairman of Apatani Language Research and Development Committee.
