ITANAGAR, Jan 20: The outfit group ULFA (I) and NSCN allegedly involved in the abduction of two employees of Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited Company today released videos of the duo wherein they are seen requesting the Assam and Bihar governments to secure their release.
The video recorded in an unknown location shows Ram Kumar employed as a radio operator plead for help from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while Pranab Kumar Gogoi, a drilling supervisor can be seen seeking help from Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal, for their release.
Both Ram Kumar and PK Gogoi were abducted by armed men from a drilling site in Innao in Changlang District on December 21 last.
“ I am an employee of Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited company and have  been kidnapped by NSCN & ULFA  because we are associated with the said company. It has been one month, since we were kidnapped by ULFA (I) and NSCN  but no measure has been taken to release us. So I, appeal to the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to talk to Assam Chief Minister to secure my release from my captors,” said Ram Kumar in the video message. Gogoi made a similar appeal to the Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in Assamese language.
According to sources, the militant groups have placed a ransom amount of Rs. 20 crores on each of the kidnapped employees.
