MAHADEVPUR, Nov 1: First ever felicitation ceremony for the meritorious students of class X and XII cum relief program for the flood victims of Abotani Clans of Namsai district was held on Saturday last. In all 41 students were felicitated.
EAC Lekang, NL Naam, who attended the programme as chief guest congratulated the meritorious students and advised them to focus on studies to make their parents proud and to achieve their goals. DDSE Namsai, KS Umbon who attended as special guest also advised the students to continue the zeal and follow their dreams. President, Abotani Clans Organization Namsai, Kenli Riba, in his speech urged the students to avoid substance abuse.
Meanwhile, flood and other essential materials for flood victims of 400 families was also distributed.
