ZIRO, Jul 6: The Apatani Students' Union (ASU) on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to Minister Education Honchun Ngandam and a reminder to Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, highlighting the problems faced in the educational sector and also the aspirations of the general public.

The ASU in a memorandum highlighted problems of no boundary walls in various schools of Ziro valley, non-functional science stream of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Hija and lack of infrastructure for athletes of the valley.

In the reminder submitted to Kiren Rijiju, the ASU requested for the construction of boundary wall of GHSS, Hapoli, the construction of ASU office and establishment of Sports college in Ziro.
