Itanagar, Jan 27: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein who is also the Minister In-charge of Power on Thursday convened a meeting with senior officers of the Department of Power & APEDA to discuss and resolve various issues related to implementation of schemes in the state.
Mein said that Roing-Chapakhowa 132 Kv double circuit interstate transmission line is an ambitious project and on completion it will boost the power scenario of the state.
Mein drew the attention of the district administration Lower Dibang Valley and requested to coordinate with all the stakeholders for resolving issues related to the ambitious project immediately in the greater interest of the work.
Discussing on the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), the DCM stressed on the need to prepare the DPR as per the actual requirements on the ground in order to achieve the target of minimising/reducing the AT&C losses.
The DCM also took status of the proposals for setting up of Solar Power Projects/Parks in the State.
Later, he also discussed on the preparation of Budget Estimate 2022-23, Comprehensive Scheme, SAUBHAGYA/DDUGJY, and on IPDS Ph-2. Among others, Advisor to Minister Balo Raja, Commissioner Kaling Tayeng, PCCF/Prl. Secy(Env. & forests) R. K. Singh, Marki Loya, Director (APEDA), Bar Takum, CE (Power), WEZ, Gumdo Doji, CE (Power), EEZ, Tasso Hinda, CEI-cum-CE(Commercial), H. R. Bado, CE (Power), TPMZ, T. K. Tara, SE(E), Transmission Circle, Itanagar
The Secretary (LM), DC Lower Dibang Valley, DFO, Roing and representative from the PGCIL also joined the meeting online.
