AALO, Dec 26: MLA Aalo East cum Advisor Law and Justice, Advocate Kento Jini flagged off the Mega Health Camp organized by the District Health Society under Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh as a part of weeklong celebration of Good Governance at Ngomdir village on December 24.
Altogether 264 patients from Ngomdir, Beye and Doji villages turned up for the camp. 
Speaking the occasion, the MLA urged all to avail the benefits of government health schemes like Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana which gives financial assistance for quality medical care to poor and needy tribals living in the state. 
Specialist doctors like gyanae, medicine, pediatrics, Surgery, ENT and Dental from General Hospital Aalo and Indian Army Hospital participated to give medical services to the patients. Free distribution of power spectacles, medicines and free ultrasound and laboratory tests were conducted on the occasion.
Patients too were given free lifting to and fro to the venue. Counseling on CMMAY, PMJAY, Dulhari Kanya Yojna, JSY Tobacco, Effects of Maternal Health etc were also carried out on the occasion.
The District Medical Officer West Siang, Dr. Dubom Bagra who is giving a new impetus to Health Sector disclosed that such camps will be organized targeting cluster of villages to facilitate heath needs of the poor and needy patients at their doorsteps.
