Yingkiong, Aug 11: The District Committee on New India@75 Campaign headed by its Chairperson, Deputy Commissioner Taper Pada held its first meeting today.
The National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) aims to create an awareness campaign on AIDS, TB and Voluntary Blood Donation by engaging the adolescents and youth. Three schools at the district level have been selected which will engage students through online engagement and mobilization. A District Level Action Plan including 2 minute video competitions on voluntary blood donations, TB and HIV/AIDS, mask making, essay and poem writing has been prepared to be executed in three phases.
