ITANAGAR, Jul 17: A consultative meeting of Arunachal Pradesh Football Association with Department of Education and Department Sports was held today at Chamber of Secretary, Sports in AP Civil Secretariat, Itanagar to discuss the launch and implementation of "FIFA Football for Schools Program" in the state.
A power point presentation on Introduction and road map for the  implementation of FIFA F4S was presented by the APFA.
The meeting was attended by Pige Ligu, Secretary, Education and Abu Tayeng, Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs along with APFA Executive Member, its Grassroots Development Committee Members and officials from Sports and Education departments.
Honorary Secretary, APFA cum Treasurer AIFF, Kipa Ajay presented the official ball of recently concluded SAAF Championship to Pige Ligu and Abu Tayeng.
The program is tentatively scheduled to be launched on 26th August 2023 along with AIFF's flagship grassroots development program:  "The Blue Cubs" initiative.
