Wakro, Jan 6: A free health camp organized by Dr Nitin Bhartia, medicine specialist in collaboration with Mylan Pharmaceuticals, CHC Wakro and local NGO was conducted for Pukhuri and Mawai villages. 
Inaugurating the camp at the community hall of Old Pukhri village, EAC Wakro Tamo Riba, lauded Dr Nitin and associates for rendering their services in a remote place. He requested the team to consider devoting time to provide healthcare in rural Arunachal on a regular basis. 
Dr Nitin in his speech said  that witnessing the plight of patients coming from Arunachal Pradesh to Dibrugarh,   prompted him to offer his services.
Local NGOs and community members appreciated the spirit of service exhibited by Dr Nitin Bhartia of Aditya Hospital while also lauding the EAC for focussing on healthcare of villagers. 
The EAC has been organizing and helping such health camps for the benefit of the people on a regular basis with a recent physiotherapy camp drawing lot of appreciation and he was also thanked for motivating NGOs, youth and community on various socio-economic and environmental issues,  a press release put out by ASSET said.
