ITANAGAR, Dec 28: The state media fraternity deeply mourned the demise of Taniyang Ningee, elder brother of comrade Tagu Ningee working in the state English daily ‘Echo of Arunachal’.
Late Taniyang (51 years) suffered CVA and was immediately brought to NIBA hospital, Naharlagun in serious condition on Sunday. He breathed his last en route to Guwahati on the same day.
The state media fraternity extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prays for the eternal peace of the departed soul. It also extends prayers to provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The members of Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalist (APUWJ), Arunachal Press Club (APC) and Arunachal Electronic & Digital Media Organization (AEDMA) paid homage to the deceased at his family home at Hollongi village here today.
Late Taniyang was serving as Section Officer at Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh and is survived by his wife, four sons and a daughter.
He joined as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the year 1993 at Rajiv Gandhi University, then Arunachal University (AU). He was promoted to Upper Division Clark (UDC) in 1997 and was again promoted as Section Officer in the year 2011.
Taniyang was also associated with various social and cultural activities among the communities.
