Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, Jun 2: IMC mayor Tame Phassang today visited various Covid testing and vaccination centres in the Itanagar Capital Region to take stock of the progress of the ongoing testing and 18-44 age group vaccination drive.
Appreciating the health team for their dedication, the mayor called for concerted efforts from all stakeholders for making the ongoing testing, tracing and vaccination process in the ICR successful. While interacting with denizens at the vaccination centres, Phassang urged them to maintain SOPs. Earlier on the day, he interacted with the multi-task workers and drivers of the IMC who collect garbage on a daily basis from sectors and wards, risking their lives amid the pandemic. Referring to the delay in payment of their salaries, the mayor assured to extend all-possible help at the earliest.
Acknowledging the hardship faced by the members of the All Capital Complex Commercial Transport Welfare Association (ACCCTWA), Phassang contributed essential commodities to the families of the association members.
