PASIGHAT, Sep 14:
Setting a noble example, one Vidol Yirang, a contractor by profession and a social worker distributed washable masks to every school of Mebo educational block today to fight against the spread of COVID-19.
The masks were distributed to the school heads of Mebo Banggo and Monggu Banggo government schools who will further distribute the same to their respective students from Class I-VIII.
Vidol Yirang is the son of Jongge Yirang, Dy. Director School Education, East Siang District.
"The student and teaching community are grateful to Yirang for his generosity," said a teacher.
