ITANAGAR, Jan 3: Normal power supply to five districts--East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Namsai, Lohit and some parts of Changlang District will be affected as weeklong maintenance work will be carried out on the Aalo - Pasighat 132 KV Transmission Line.
The Pasighat Transmission Division, Department of Power has informed that from January 4-10 from 0800 Hrs to 1630 Hrs, clearance of vegetation along the corridor of transmission line including associated annual maintenance on this transmission line which transverses through tough terrain with thick forests will be carried out. The shutdown shall have impact on the power supply during the day time to the downstream districts of East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Namsai, Lohit and some parts of Changlang District.
