Ziro, Apr 16: District Level Coordination Committee meeting in National Deworming Day(NDD) was held today under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri Somcha Lowang.
Addressing the committee members, she called for concerted effort and dedication from all members to achieve 100% performance during the ensuing round.
DMO Dr.Tage Kanno, briefed about the importance of consuming albendazole tablets and vit- A for maintaining mental health among the children. He further sought full support from the education and the ICDS department for the successful implementation of the National Deworming Day.
 Emphasis shall be given on house to house visit by ASHAs and Anganwadi workers for  distribution of the Albendazole tablets, the meeting stressed.
