ZIRO, May 6: District Water and Sanitation Mission Committee, Lower Subansiri today finalized the District Action Plan 2021-22 for Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) schemes pertaining to PHE & WS Division in a meeting held here at the DC’s Conference Hall under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Somcha Lowang.

After an elaborate discussion it was decided that Completion Reports issued by the ZPMs of the concerned segments would be mandatory for making final payments to the contactors. The ZPMs along with the GPCs will verify the JJM schemes and issue NOCs. The members also approved the Annual Action Plan for 2021-22 and 2022-2023 under PHE and WS Division, Ziro. An amount of Rs. 5522.28 lakhs covering 221 villages and 3914 households was approved for further submission to the government.
