Ziro, Dec 8: The District Task Force (DTF) meeting for implementation of COVID-19 vaccine was held in the Office chamber of Deputy Commissioner at Hapoli today.
Chairing the meeting Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan called for coordination between all relevant departments like ICDS,PRI, Civil Soceity Organization, NGOs at the block levels to ensure that the vaccines are delivered safely to the beneficiaries.
Emphasing on planning and monitoring of the entire process, she added that the progress of all the key activities such as microplanning, communication planning, cold chain and vaccine logistics planning have to be regularly monitored. "The Block level task force headed by the concern admin officers should ensure that regular meetings are held to keep a tab on the progress of the planning ," she further added. She also directed the DRCHO I/c Dr. Radhe Anku to ensure that the beneficiary list is updated in the Co-WIN software before the deadline of December 10.
Later the microplan for covid-19 vaccination was presented by Dr. Radhe Anku. She dwelt in length about the cold chain preparedness, details of session sites and the vaccinators.
Tage Hailyang , the Vaccine Cold Chain Manager for Lower Subansiri also spoke about the EVIN software. The EVIN software ( Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network ) provides real time information on vaccine stocks and the updates on the availability and usage of all the vaccines throughout the country.
