Kangku, Nov 26: The District Administration of Lower Siang conducted Sarkar Aapke Dwar at Kangku Circle headquarters. The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Marto Riba, who inspected all the camp office and   interacted with departmental officials and public on the occasion. The DC requested the public to avail maximum benefits from the camp.
On the occasion 16 departments including District Administration, Health, Education, ICDS, Agriculture,  Forest, Veterinary, Transport, Fisheries and Industries provided their service to the public at their doorstep. During the special camp, the concern line departments distributed tools & equipment, soil health cards, MGNREGS Job Cards ST/PRC/Birth & Income certificate etc.
Covid-19 vaccination was one of the highlights of the special camp where 20 persons received their 1st dose and 36 persons received their 2nd doses besides many other free health check-ups and tests were conducted. The Forest & Environment Department distributed varieties of saplings and imparted awareness for the afforestation and consequences of deforestation on the occasion.
