LONGLIANG, Apr 6: The Paramount Chief of Borduria, Wanglin Lowangdong accompanied by the First Lady and Chairperson, Nocte Women’s Association Chasoam Wangchadong, ZPM Kapu Wiram Matey and others today visited the fire-affected Longliang village and handed over relief materials and financial assistance to EAC I/c Lazu.
While interacting with the fire victims, Lowangdong urged them to start anew, assuring them that the entire state is with them. He appreciated the state government, NGOs, CBOs, student unions and individuals who have extended their helping hands.
The Chief of Borduria donated Rs. 2,50,000 and Rs. 25,000 each to the kith and kin of two deceased families along with 120 rice bags. Rs 50000 has arrived from the Nocte Women’s Association, besides contributions from the ZPMs and the Old and New Laptang and Luthong villages. DIPRO
