NAMASAI, Apr 9:  As a part the Bharatiya Janata Party’s 37^th Sthapana Diwas and birth anniversary celebration of Dr.BR Ambedkar, the Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha organized a day long program here today at Namsai Town Club. Minister for Agriculture Wangki Lowang attended the programme as Chief Guest along with  local MLA Zingnu Namchoom .

Addressing the gathering, Lowang advised the people to opt for agriculture stating it as the most important livelihood generation. ‘To improve or for welfare of farmers many schemes were launched by the central government under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, many of them have been implemented , few are under processes in the State,’ added the Minister while appealing to avail the benefits of the schemes.

He also urged the BJP party workers to make the party strong.

Speaking on the occasion, local MLA Zingnu Namchoom highlighted the foundation of BJP and adviced all party workers to create awareness on all central schemes in the state till grassroots level. ‘Along with Prime Minister Jan dhan yojana there are 83 schemes where people can get benefits,’ he said.

BJKM president Dunggoli Libang , BJKM general secretary Sange Tsering Thungon , State secretary-BJYM Doni Nich  also spoke on the occasion.
