Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
KHONSA, Jan 24: Minister PHE&WS Wangki Lowang, inaugurated a community hall at Natun Kheti on January 22 in presence of ADC Deomali, Penga Tato.
The hall has been constructed under MLA LADs 2019-20, for an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs, by the Water Resources Department.
Attending the Annual Sports Meet organised by Natun Kheti Youth Association, Lowang in his address advised the youth to devote their time and energy in studies and co-curricular activities. He also stressed on reviving traditional cultural activities which has fallen out of practice in recent times.
On the occasion, he announced a scholarship of rupees One lakh each to 1st division toppers of class X and XII from his constituency. He also distributed blankets to senior citizens of each household. DIPRO
