AALO, Oct 8: The Ngomdir-Beye PMGSY road which has remained blocked for the last 20 days since rain triggered heavy landslides at several points on September 17 last, has made life difficult for residents as they have to march on foot to manage the daily essentials.
The said road is being executed by Rural Development Department and the contractor assigned for construction works is said to have withdrawn all men and materials from the roadsides and no work is taking place now. The road is blocked at 20 points, and locals are going through a tough time to get essential commodities and in evacuating patients that require emergency medical attention. DIPRO
