LUNGLA, Jun 25: Basic life support ambulances under the 108 Emergency Response Service scheme for Lungla and Jemeithang Circles were flagged off today by the current and former PRI representatives and ADC Lungla from General Ground, Muyo.
Ex-ZPC Tawang Tsering Lhamu, ZPM Dutongkhar-Jemeithang Leki Norbu, ZPM Lungla Thutan Gombu and ADC Lungla Tashi Dhondup flagged off the vehicles in presence of panchayat leaders, Heads of Offices and medical staff. MLA Lungla Jambey Tashi has conveyed his gratitude to Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Minister Health and Family Welfare Alo Libang for providing the ambulances for his constituency. “It is a major boost to improve the healthcare delivery system in the constituency and will be helpful in saving precious lives,” ZPM Lungla said. The toll free emergency response ambulance service will provide 24x7 emergency pre-hospital care to the patients while transporting them to appropriate hospitals for stabilization under care of dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians.
