ROING, Mar 22: Dibang Youth Library, Roing today celebrated the World Forestry Day and World Water Day participated by the students and library volunteers of Lower Dibang Valley district.
Addressing the event, Deputy Commissioner, Lower Dibang Valley KN Damo while reiterating the need to keep the environment clean and green appealed all to stop the practice of killing wild animals for meat consumption.  Executive Director, RIWATCH, Roing Vijay Swami highlighted the need for conserving the state's water resources.
Prizes for quiz competition and book reading contests sponsored by former DFO Roing Aduk Peron were given away by the guests on the occasion.
