TEZU, Apr 24: A 3-day reading promotion workshop for the students of classes IX & X of Medo Government Secondary School concluded today at the school premises.
The workshop which included sessions on book reading, reading theatre and poetry recitation was organised by the senior reader-activists of Medo Youth Library, APNE Library, Wakro and Bamboosa Library, Tezu. Acting Head Mistress of the school Saroj Singh lauded the library activists for their contribution in improving the learning environment of the youths of Wakro Circle. Mentor, APNE Library Manisha Hala appealed to the students to make the best use of the 2-month summer vacation by regularly visiting the Medo Youth Library.
Chief Patron, Medo Youth Library Dr S Towsik and Director, State Gazetteer Sokhep Kri appreciated the library activists for the initiative.
