TAWANG, Jun 25:The Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority on June 24 last opened a Legal Aid Clinic at the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court complex Tawang. Member Secretary APSLSA, Budi Habung, inaugurated the facility in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok, SP Manoj Kumar Meena, Advocates of the Tawang Bar and Bomdila among others.

Habung in his speech asked the advocates to do pro bono services and help the poor and downtrodden sections of society through the legal services authority. He also implored the Para Legal Volunteers to be the bridge between the legal services and the poor to see that no one suffers for their economical disability in access to justice.

Earlier, an Induction cum Orientation Training of the Legal Aid Counsels and Para Legal Volunteers of Tawang District was held in the conference hall of the Circuit House.
