Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, Feb 21: The department of Physical Education, Rajiv Gandhi University conducted a 6-day camp at Yabi Village, Hoj under Papumpare District which ended of February 19.
The camp was conducted for the BPED students as a compulsory part of the curriculum. A total of 120 participants inclusive of 96 students, faculty members of the department and experts from adventure sports took part.
The main objective of the camp was to enhance leadership qualities, preservation of mother nature, environment pollution control, recreational and educational benefits of outdoor living, team cohesion, communication skills and better relationship among the participants.
The co-curricular unit of the department was able to carry out the programme successfully under direction of Camp Director, Dr. Anil Mili Programe Programme Director, Dr. K. Rojeet Singh Outdoor co/coordinator Dr. Sambhu Prasad Recreational Activity Coordinator, Dr. Vivek kr Singh. Adventure Expert Tagit Sorang
Vice Chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha, also visited the camp and motivated the students and exhorted them to conserve nature.
