Roing, Sep 30: A meeting on Sustainable Development Goals and Lower Dibang Valley district’s performance in meeting the parameters set towards achieving these goals was conducted today. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner KN Damo and attended by SP JK Lego, ADC Dambuk, heads of departments and bank representatives.
The DC stressed on the importance of achieving the SDGs and called for all the departments to work collectively to achieve the goals and better the ranking of the district and the state. We can meet all the parameters only when all the projects and schemes being implemented here are done properly and its progress reflected in the monthly progress report, he stated.
The DC also advised the departments to sustain the good performance while they put in efforts to better the performance where the district is lagging behind.
DPO Marto Dirchi gave a presentation on the 17 SDGs and the district’s performance with the target for 2022-2023 and the interventions to be done to achieve the target. He emphasized on collection and uploading of correct data to reflect the district’s performance. DIPRO
