ITANAGAR,  Sep 27: The Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, Srinivas Katikithala, IAS, made a courtesy call on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar today.
The Governor emphasized on providing quality training to the trainee officers in order to promote good governance and socio-economic justice for all. LBSNAA, as the premier training institution for the civil services in India should lay strong foundation by advancing the spirit of transparency, accountability, probity, equal dispensation, self audit and mid-course correction, whenever required amongst the officers to build a professional and responsive civil service, he said.  The Governor suggested regular training programmes for the officers from Arunachal Pradesh so that they exponentially contribute in nation building, amelioration of the poor and downtrodden and ensure that the benefits of welfare programmes reach the targeted segment in the State.
