NAHARLAGUN, Aug 13:  An hour long sit-in protest  by lawyers was held on Thursday in front of the High Court (Itanagar bench )premises to press the demand for resumption of physical functioning in the courts and reopening of the Bar offices.
Speaking on the occasion, President, Gauhati High Court Itanagar Bench Bar Association(GHCIBBA) Advocate Tayum Son  informed that the sit-in protest  was jointly called by the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh & Sikkim keeping in view the problems being faced by the lawyers due to non-resumption of physical courts , closure of Bar libraries, offices  and others.
