New Delhi, Jun 28: Minister Environment & Forest, Mama Natung accompanied by legislators Tapuk Taku, Guruk Pordung and Hayeng Mangfi, called on Union Minister of Law and Justice, Kiren Rijiju at his office at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi and discussed the problems faced by JNV School Seppa.  The Union Law and Justice Minister spoke with authorities of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and it was assured from NVS for immediate work allocation for construction of boys and girls hostel, teachers quarter and the compound boundary wall during the current academic session. It was also assured by NVS that a Principal would be posted for JNV Seppa on priority basis. A technical team would also visit the school to study the feasibility of viable solution to water problem in the school. They also discussed approval from Ministry of RTH to declare Chayangtajo-Seppa road (81 Km) as National Highway on priority basis.
In another meeting today, the delegation called on Arjun Munda, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, and discussed pending issues of additional infrastructure under EMRS at Lumla and Bana. The Union Minister assured immediate release of balance fund under the scheme and also assured the construction of Tribal Cultural Convention Hall/Multipurpose Cultural Building in Seppa which was announced by the Union Minister during his visit to Arunachal Pradesh on the Golden Jubilee Nyokum Yullo Festival 2022 at Seppa.
