Guwahati, Jun 15: Arunachal participated in the Buyer-Seller meet held at Guwahati organised by the INVEST INDIA (National Investment Promotion & Facilitation Agency) in collaboration with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Development of North East Region (NEC), North East Handlooms & Handicraft Development Corporation (NEHHDC) and North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Limited (NERAMAC).
Arunachal was led by Wanglong Rajkumar, Chairman APIDFCL, Hage Tari, Secretary Trade & Commerce, Boken Kino, Vice-Chairman APIDFCL and Sonyung Modi Director Trade & Commerce.
The house discussed about the high logistic cost, difficulties faced by farmers in obtaining organic certifications for their produce.  
 Altogether, eighty sellers/producers from North East showcased their agri-horti and handlooms and handicraft products and actively precipitated in the meet and 20 buyers (company buyers) from across the country also participated and interacted with the sellers.
During the meet, a B2G programme was also organised where interaction from buyers to growers regarding selling and buying of the products.
M/s Green Gold Integrated  Farm from Papum Pare also participated with its products of Kiwi, Large Cardamom and Thai Lemon. Large cardamom was the main attraction of the meet as many buyers showed keen interest.
Ms Kameng Organic Farmers Producer Company Ltd from Pakke Kessang also participated in the meet showcasing its organic products of turmeric, ginger, dry turmeric etc.
