Itanagar, Sep 10: A coordination meeting was convened by the Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Talo Potom today with the CEO, ISCDCL Dahey Sangno and attended by EE, PWD, Naharlagun, EE, PWD, CD-A/ B, EE, ISCDCL and AEs and JEs of various Departments to identify roads to be taken up under Smart City and PWD for CC pavement. 
During the meeting, the DC informed that few CC pavement works in respect of some major roads in Itanagar are halted due to overlapping issues in executing the works as there is no proper handing and taking over of roads between the Executing Departments. 
He said that there is lack of coordination seen between various Departments viz Administration, PWD, IMC and Smart City and urged them to work in coordination with each other.
The CEO ISCDCL informed that the overlapping issues needs to be sorted out immediately for further beautification of Itanagar and for the convenience of general public.  
The DC asked the team of ISCDCL to carryout CC pavement works as per the DPR and Scope. He asked ISCDCL to handover all the stretches of roads competed to the concerned PWD, after defect period. 
He added that the ISCDCL/ Contractor will be responsible for maintenance of the road, if any, before handing and taking over by the PWD.
The DC further directed the PWD to submit Monthly Progress Report to ISCDCL in respect of convergence projects.  
The DC also asked all the Departments to put up sign boards mentioning the details of schemes, as per Order No.DC/ICC/ORD-01/2021, dated 2nd September, 2021. DIPRO
