Khonsa, Sep 21: A one day workshop-cum-awareness programme for the Anganwadi workers and women farmers of Tirap district as a part of the ongoing Poshan Maah celebration was held here at the NBF Hall on Monday.
Chief Guest, ADC Kretkam Tikhak while appreciating KVK, Tirap for conducting the awareness programme, spoke on the problems of malnutrition and other diet-related diseases faced by women. Senior Scientist and Head KVK, Tirap Dr. D.S. Chhonkar as Resource Person highlighted the objectives of Poshan Maah Abhiyan. Deputy Director (WCD) Hacham Bangsia also spoke on the occasion.
As a part of the programme, vegetable seeds for Nutritional Kitchen Garden scheme were distributed to the Anganwadi workers and women farmers under Nutri Campaign-2020. DIPRO
