KANUBARI, Jul 28: A training cum input distribution programme titled ‘Integrated Horticulture Including Fisheries for North East India’ was conducted by the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, A. P. Centre, Basar in collaboration with KVK Longding at Zedua Village under Longding district on July 26 last. 
29 farmers involved in the project of pineapple plantation attended the training which was initiated by I/c Head, KVK Longding A. Kirankumar Singh.  Organic inputs were distributed to them and the details of their applicability were shared. Despite the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the farmers showed great enthusiasm while attending  the training. 
After completion of the programme, the KVK Head visited a pineapple field and apprised the farmer about the superior farming techniques that can boost production.
