Kanubari, Sep 27: A training programme under NARI (Nutri-Sensitive Agricultural Resources Innovation) was conducted by KVK Longding at the inspection bungalow, Pongchau on Saturday last for the Anganwadi workers, Supervisors and Gram Sevikas of the district.
I/c Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Longding Dr A. Kirankumar Singh highlighted the objective of the training which was conducted as a part of Poshan Maah 2020 and discussed the importance of Poshan Abhiyan. Dr Singh imparted training on Nutritional Kitchen Gardening to the participants for ensuring a balanced diet to the children at Anganwadi centres.
13 different vegetable seeds like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, etc were distributed to the 25 participants who attended the training. CDPO, Pongchau N. Tangha and SMS (Animal Science) Dr Tilling Tayo were also present during the training. KVK Longding PR
